Rubber feet for electronic scale assemblies form part of the support arrangement beneath the instrument. Their mounting position, installed height, and deformation under load can affect how the scale rests on its working surface. The foot design should therefore be considered together with the housing and weighing mechanism, especially where nearby parts could create an unintended contact path.
Match each foot to its fixing feature and the clearance around the base. The scale should rest on the intended supports without the housing, cable, or another component touching the bench as load changes. A foot that sits crookedly may alter the stance even though it remains attached securely.
Check the assembled scale on its intended surface through the relevant loading positions. Include off center placement when that is part of normal use. Rubber support by itself does not establish measurement accuracy; the completed instrument must retain its intended weighing behavior after the feet are installed.
Keep the underside clean and avoid packing debris beneath one support. After moving or servicing the instrument, inspect the seating of every foot and restore the intended level arrangement. If a replacement changes the installed height or support condition, reassess the complete scale before relying on its readings. This is particularly important when only one worn foot is replaced beside older parts with a different settled shape.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The scale should rest on the intended supports without the housing, cable, or another component touching the bench as load changes. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
