Rubber feet for equipment establish the contact points beneath a housing or frame. A custom silicone bumper can be sized to keep the base at its intended height while fitting the available mounting seat. That separation may be needed for access, clearance, or simply to prevent the housing edge from becoming the point of support.
Check the gap with the equipment fully assembled and loaded. A foot's free height is different from its projection below a recessed seat and may change under the actual weight. The support positions should keep the unit stable without placing a foot over an opening or removable panel.
Use an attachment arrangement suited to how the equipment is handled. A protruding foot may receive sideways force when the unit is moved, so its seating and retention deserve attention. Keep the contact faces free of grit and inspect them after relocation. If the underside begins touching the supporting surface, examine the feet and their seats before adding unrelated spacers that change the original support layout.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
