Custom rubber feet can be molded for the support legs of an ironing board. The profile should match the leg ends and the way they meet the floor when the frame is open. The feet create the contact surface beneath the board, so their installed height and base angle matter together.
Inspect the frame in its normal working position. The feet should sit evenly without rocking and remain clear of hinges or other parts during folding. A foot that fits the tube while folded may still need a different base profile for the opened leg angle.
Clean the leg ends before fitting and remove any sharp edges that could cut the rubber internally. Seat the feet fully, then check the board on a level surface. If the frame remains unstable, inspect the hinges and locking arrangement rather than expecting the feet to correct a structural problem. Keep the contact faces free of grit and residue, and check the fit after moving or storing the board so a displaced cap does not leave the leg exposed.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The feet create the contact surface beneath the board, so their installed height and base angle matter together. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
