Standard rubber grommets provide a practical starting point for protecting wires, cables and hoses at panel holes. The range is intended for push-in fitting, with the flexible profile retaining the part around the cut edge. ETOL also offers material, hardness and color customization within its grommet range.
A standard part should be selected through its full dimensions rather than by visual similarity. The outside diameter determines flange coverage, the inner opening controls passage clearance, and the groove must agree with the panel hole and thickness. Two parts can look alike from the front while fitting very different sheet thicknesses.
Review the available space on both panel faces. A thick flange may meet a nearby cover even though the groove fits correctly. The installation order also matters if a connector or hose fitting is larger than the center opening.
Use a clean, finished hole and verify that the profile settles into place around its perimeter. After routing the item, check for displacement caused by pulling it through. Standard sizing simplifies selection only when the assembly dimensions and service conditions are matched to the chosen version.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The outside diameter determines flange coverage, the inner opening controls passage clearance, and the groove must agree with the panel hole and thickness. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
