Rubber keypad with carbon pills construction combines the flexible operating surface and conductive contact elements in one molded component. Pressing a key brings its carbon pill toward the matching circuit contact; releasing the key allows the elastomer structure to return. This arrangement is useful when an electronic control needs several physical buttons arranged on a common mat.
The visible key layout and the underside contact pattern need to be developed together. A comfortable finger target above the housing is only part of the design: pill position, key travel, and the supporting area around each button determine how the assembly operates. Custom dimensions, colors, and molded identification can adapt the keypad to its enclosure.
During assembly, keep the mat flat and place each contact over its intended circuit position before tightening the housing. A trapped edge or displaced locating feature can change the feel of several buttons at once. Check individual presses and adjacent keys on the assembled control, including keys near the enclosure perimeter. Keep the contact surfaces free of handling residue and loose particles.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
