Product Overview

A rubber power button keypad creates the physical interface for switching a device on or off. Its shape and marking should make the control recognizable within the surrounding enclosure, whether it is a single visible button or part of a small control area. Silicone color and printed, embossed, debossed, or colorfilled symbols can be customized for that layout.

Power controls are often approached without close visual attention. Consider the exposed height, finger contact area, and nearby edges together so that the user can locate the button while handling the product normally. A projecting button may be easier to find, but its position should also be assessed against contact from storage surfaces or other objects. The enclosure and underlying switch determine how that external shape translates into actuation.
