A suction cup with screw connects a flexible sealing cup to a supporting component through a threaded feature. The screw provides attachment, while the cup must still sit correctly against the intended surface. A rigid holder that fixes the cup at an unsuitable angle can prevent even lip contact despite a secure threaded joint.
Consider the receiving thread, engagement depth, and available mounting space together with the cup orientation. Tightening should use the appropriate attachment feature without winding the rubber body around the fixing. Check that the screw or holder does not project far enough to interfere with the cup as it deforms.
Assess the complete assembly on the actual surface, including the direction of applied force. A pull through the center and a sideways load at a distance from the surface can produce different behavior. The screw does not define the cup's holding capacity. Inspect both interfaces during service: looseness at the thread and damage to the sealing edge can each undermine performance while the other part of the assembly still looks sound.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
