A soft food grade silicone o ring should be developed for the actual food-contact joint and its cleaning cycle. The chosen silicone formulation, section and groove must work together so the ring remains seated as required during operation and after the equipment is cleaned or reassembled.
Select the material for the relevant contents, contact duration and temperatures. Softness is one design variable rather than a general guarantee of sealing. The joint needs enough support for the selected ring without forcing the rubber into an unintended gap.
Fit the ring using the equipment's designated method and inspect the full circumference before closing the joint. Where maintenance removes the ring, handle it without stretching the section and clear residue from its seat before replacement. Check for cuts or a lasting change in shape. Do not use a similarly soft spare without matching its compound and dimensions, since a different formulation or section can behave differently in the same food-equipment assembly.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
