A self-adhesive rubber gasket holds a sealing profile on one face of an assembly. Once positioned, it should remain clear of sliding edges or projecting hardware as the mating part closes. A gasket can bond correctly and still be damaged if the closure movement catches its exposed edge.
Custom structure, dimensions, hardness and material allow the profile to follow the contact path. Include the approach of the opposing component when defining the outline, especially if the joint closes at an angle before settling into its final position. Select the backing for the actual mounting surface and environment.
Prepare the face and apply the gasket according to the adhesive requirements. Bring the mating part through its intended closing movement and inspect for a lifted corner or rolled section before final fastening. If the same edge repeatedly moves, review the clearance or closure path instead of increasing adhesive strength alone. During servicing, remove old backing residue before replacement so the new piece follows a consistent surface height.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
