A silicone rubber wire protective ring creates a continuous cushioned border at a cable opening. Its purpose is best served when the lead remains centered within that border instead of resting partly across the flange and partly inside the bore.
ETOL offers custom sizes, colors and material constructions. Choose the passage for the finished cable covering and the retained profile for the panel. Include the direction of the lead after it leaves the opening, especially where a nearby connector draws it toward one edge.
Inspect the cable position once the surrounding assembly is complete. A ring that fitted correctly before connection may be displaced when the lead is plugged in or clipped down. Keep separate supports responsible for that route and allow the rubber to rest in its molded seat. If the lead is moved during maintenance, check for a rolled rim before normal use resumes. Remove grit from the opening and replace rubber with a cut contact surface rather than allowing the jacket to bear on the exposed hard edge beneath it.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The purpose is best served when the lead remains centered within that border instead of resting partly across the flange and partly inside the bore. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
