Product Overview

A silicone silk screen printing keypad places the control legends directly on the molded key surfaces. The printing layout should follow the final key arrangement, with symbols positioned where they remain visible after the keypad is fitted. Custom size and color allow the legends and base material to be considered together.

Use the actual printed area when judging lettering size. A bezel may conceal a margin around the key, and a curved top can change how a symbol is viewed. Essential words or icons should stay clear of those boundaries. Contrast between the legend and base color helps the user distinguish commands without overcrowding a small key.

For a group of controls, maintain a consistent reading direction and check any symbols that are similar in shape. The physical spacing between keys should support that visual organization. Assess the keypad in the normal viewing position of the complete product rather than only as a flat, loose component.

Printing does not replace the mechanical fit review. The keys must still move independently and return freely within the panel. Clean the marked surfaces using the finished product's intended care method, avoiding abrasive scraping that can affect the legends. Include frequently used keys when checking whether the markings remain readable during service.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
