Product Overview

A soft silicone sleeve for a Philips electric toothbrush needs a practical care routine for the surfaces beneath it. Moisture and residue at the sleeve ends can be difficult to see while the covering remains on the handle. Develop the profile for the particular toothbrush model and its intended cleaning method.

Establish whether removal is part of that method. If it is, the sleeve needs a fitting path that clears projecting features without repeatedly stretching a thin edge. Leave a useful grip area for removal rather than relying on a tool inserted between the silicone and handle.

Clean the exposed handle and the inside of the sleeve as permitted for the device. Let them reach the required condition before reassembly so residue is not concealed by the covering. Inspect the opening edges for tearing or a rolled section that could trap material at the next use.

Refit in the correct position, then check the toothbrush's controls and normal charging or storage arrangement. A custom cover is specific to that configuration; it should not be moved to another model simply because the handle width appears similar. The selected silicone and geometry should remain consistent when color variants are produced.

Material options
Custom silicone formulation and color for the specified shape and working environment.
Hardness range
20–80 Shore A for silicone. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: If it is, the sleeve needs a fitting path that clears projecting features without repeatedly stretching a thin edge.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
