A molded square gasket forms a sealing path with straight sides and defined corners. In a joint exposed to oil, the material needs to be selected for that oil and the operating conditions. EPDM and NBR are different rubber families, so their names should not be treated as interchangeable oil-resistance claims.
Develop the perimeter and section around the supported sealing face. Check how the corners sit relative to the opening and any nearby fasteners, and keep the rubber within the area that the joint can compress as intended. The selected formulation and molded geometry should be evaluated together.
Before fitting, clear residue from the face and inspect for scratches or distortions. Place the square outline without pulling one corner across the opening to align another. During replacement, examine the old gasket for localized swelling or a changed section and relate that condition to the joint exposure. Use the specified material version when replacing a seal instead of choosing a similar-looking square ring by size alone.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
