Product Overview

A Vacuum suction cup with screw provides a mechanical connection between a suction contact and its mounting hardware. The screw connection should secure the assembly without twisting the flexible cup body. The rim needs to meet the contact surface evenly, so attachment alignment matters as much as the cup's outside diameter.

PVC, rubber and silicone are associated with this custom product range. Material, dimensions, hardness and color can be developed for the application, with hardness options from 20 to 80 Shore A for silicone and 30 to 90 Shore A for solid rubber. Choose the cup face and attachment geometry for the actual surface, available space and direction of force.

When fastening the cup, support the attachment as required by the design rather than using the flexible rim as a grip. Check that the screw does not bottom out before the mounting is secure. Evaluate holding behavior on representative surfaces under the intended operating conditions, including any repeated placement and release.

Keep the contact face clean and inspect it for deformation after storage. A cup left bent against its packaging may not initially present an even rim. During service, investigate loosening at the screw separately from loss of contact at the cup face; the corrective action is different for each interface.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. When fastening the cup, support the attachment as required by the design rather than using the flexible rim as a grip.
Custom geometry
The rim needs to meet the contact surface evenly, so attachment alignment matters as much as the cup's outside diameter.
Fit evaluation
Check that the screw does not bottom out before the mounting is secure.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
