Product Overview

A vibration rubber pad provides a flexible contact layer within an assembly. If the location is exposed to heat, choose the material for the temperature at the pad and the substances around it as well as the intended cushioning role.

ETOL offers custom structure, dimensions, compound, hardness and color. Define the supporting footprint and assembled space before selecting the thickness. The pad should receive contact across its designed area without being pressed against a hot projection or sharp edge.

Evaluate the complete mounting arrangement through its intended operating conditions. Check for rigid contact that bypasses the rubber and for uneven compression that pushes an edge out of position. This component should be specified as the rubber interface required by the assembly; any separate heating hardware needs its own design. During maintenance, follow the equipment's appropriate cool-down process and inspect the pad for hardening, cuts or permanent distortion. Correct the mating contact or exposure issue before installing a replacement so the same local damage is not repeated.

Material options
Natural rubber. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. The pad should receive contact across its designed area without being pressed against a hot projection or sharp edge.
Custom dimensions
Check for rigid contact that bypasses the rubber and for uneven compression that pushes an edge out of position.
Fit & assembly
Define the supporting footprint and assembled space before selecting the thickness.
Use & inspection
Correct the mating contact or exposure issue before installing a replacement so the same local damage is not repeated.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach

03

Evaluate the sample

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly

04

Produce & inspect

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
