Different shape rubber damper profiles can be developed around the load path and available space of an assembly. A ring, block or special outline should place material where it can deform usefully without crowding neighboring components. The visible shape alone does not determine the resulting support or damping behavior.
For heat exposed operation, choose the compound using the temperature at the mounting point and duration of exposure. Custom dimensions and colors allow the geometry to follow the mating surfaces. Include any fluid contact that occurs at the same location.
Evaluate the selected profile in its intended orientation with actual fasteners and supports. Check which regions compress first and whether a narrow section becomes an unintended load bearing area. After representative operation, inspect for permanent lean, edge damage or rigid contact around the damper. A change in shape should be assessed with the complete assembly rather than treated as a cosmetic variation. If the mounting orientation is revised, review the load path and clearances before reusing the same profile.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The visible shape alone does not determine the resulting support or damping behavior. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
