Rectangular rubber caps need to engage the corners as well as the straight sides of their mating features. Overall width and length do not fully define the fit; corner radii and engagement depth determine whether the cover can seat without stretching or bunching at the ends.
Custom square and rectangular cap profiles can be developed in the selected rubber material, hardness and color. Check the surrounding space for removal access and make sure the closed face does not contact an internal projection before the sidewalls reach their intended position.
During installation, align the profile and work around the edges evenly. Forcing one corner fully into place before the opposite side is aligned can leave the cover twisted. Inspect the entire perimeter after fitting, particularly corners hidden by nearby hardware. Keep the cavity free of debris and assess any sealing requirement with the complete receiving component. When removing the cap, distribute the pull across the intended gripping area so repeated service does not tear a single corner.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
