Match the attachment and installation method
A custom suction cup can be shaped to suit the connection and contact space available in a product. The attachment above the cup and the sealing face below it serve different purposes, so both should be defined before the outside silhouette is finalized. A cup that reaches the surface may still leave inadequate room for its holder or release movement.
Start with the mounting interface, available approach distance, and the uninterrupted area where the lip can sit. Include any neighboring features that could touch the surface first. If the cup needs to be replaced during service, allow a practical removal method that does not require tearing or levering against the sealing edge.
Trial the custom shape in the complete arrangement. Observe whether the cup deforms evenly, remains aligned under the intended force, and releases in a controlled manner. Surface texture and contamination should reflect actual use rather than an unusually clean test condition. The final application determines the necessary retention checks; custom geometry alone does not establish a universal holding force or suitability for supporting valuable or safety-critical items.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
