A sticky silicone rubber pad can provide a tacky contact interface beneath a suitably matched object. The nature of that contact should be established for the selected pad; a tacky surface is not automatically the same as a permanent adhesive backing. The receiving finish and the forces applied during use affect how the pad behaves.
Choose a clean contact area with enough support for the pad's full outline. Texture, dust and oily residue can interrupt contact, while a pulling force at one edge can lift a pad that appears secure under downward pressure. Any intended load or retention duty needs evaluation in that arrangement.
Check compatibility with the actual finish before extended placement, including whether removal leaves residue or marks. Use the intended cleaning and reuse method rather than assuming washing will restore every formulation. Inspect the pad for trapped particles and torn edges. If used as a small bumper, position its contact face where the opposing part meets it without repeatedly peeling the pad away from its mounting surface.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
