A Cable bushing grommet uses a shaped rubber interface to protect and locate a cable entry. The taper needs a defined seating relationship with the mating opening, so the part is not simply pushed farther whenever it feels loose. Custom size, material and color allow the retained profile to suit the panel and cable.
Identify the part of the taper intended to contact the opening and any shoulder that limits insertion. Check the cable bore after the bushing is seated, because compression at the outside can affect the passage inside. The cable should follow its route without forcing the bushing deeper or prying it back out. During assembly, apply force to the intended supported region rather than pulling on the wire to locate the rubber. Inspect the finished entry for a tilted position or a lip trapped beneath the panel. If it shifts during normal handling, review the mating profile and cable support before replacing it. Adding installation force alone may leave the same mismatch in place.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If it shifts during normal handling, review the mating profile and cable support before replacing it. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
