This cable protection grommet cushions wiring at a panel cutout and can be customized for the surrounding assembly. For equipment that is cleaned regularly, access around the flange deserves attention alongside the cable bore. A protected entry is easier to inspect when its edge is visible rather than hidden behind another fitting.
ETOL offers changes to size, shape, compound, hardness and color. Choose the material for its actual exposure to the product and cleaning process, distinguishing incidental proximity from direct food contact. Arrange the entry so cleaning residue does not remain trapped in an inaccessible pocket beside the rubber.
Before fitting, remove particles from the panel and cable covering. After cleaning or servicing, check the entry for a displaced lip and make sure the lead has returned to its intended position. Where moisture exclusion is part of the design, evaluate the installed cable and panel contacts together. Avoid scrubbing the bore with a sharp implement, and replace a torn rim instead of leaving an exposed section of the cutout beneath the wire.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. For equipment that is cleaned regularly, access around the flange deserves attention alongside the cable bore. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
