A rectangular silicone rubber gasket follows a sealing path with long sides and defined corner transitions. The mating cover may apply compression differently near fasteners and between them, so even closure along the full perimeter is part of the joint design. The gasket should match the opening and support area without being stretched to reach the corners.
Check side lengths, corner radii, thickness, and any fixing holes. Preserve sufficient contact width beside each opening and keep the inner edge clear of the intended passage. Select the silicone formulation around the medium, temperature, and cleaning process at the joint.
Lay the gasket flat and bring the mating faces together evenly. Inspect exposed sides for waves or material pushed out of the seat. After disassembly, compare the contact pattern along the middle of the long sides with the areas near fasteners. Uneven flattening can indicate a cover or closing condition that should be corrected before replacement rather than hidden by adding thickness to the entire gasket.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
