A rubber shock pad needs a footprint that suits the component contacting it. A broad pad does not automatically distribute force over its whole area if the opposing part meets it with a narrow edge or at an angle. The contact geometry and supporting structure should be defined together.
Consider the approach path and the space available for deformation after contact begins. The pad should remain located without being dragged sideways or squeezed against a sharp surrounding feature. If the assembly has another hard stop, check when that stop is reached relative to the rubber's intended movement.
Evaluate the complete mechanism at its relevant operating conditions, observing contact marks and any shift in the pad's position. The product name does not establish an energy absorption rating. During inspection, compare the resting profile with its original shape and check the attachment area. Concentrated wear may call for an alignment or contact-face correction rather than a larger pad, while permanent distortion can change the point at which the mechanism meets its buffer.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
