A flexible rubber seal needs room to deform within its intended joint without entering an unrelated gap. The silicone profile should be selected around the supported contact surfaces and the space that remains when the assembly closes. Flexibility is useful only when the surrounding geometry directs that movement appropriately.
Check the outline, local thickness, and retaining features. Include the actual medium, temperature, and operating motion when choosing the formulation. An O-ring configuration requires its own groove and section dimensions rather than being substituted for a shaped gasket with different face contact.
Install without twist or a folded edge and keep the seat clean. Inspect the closing assembly for material spreading outside its supported region. During service, look for extrusion or a permanently displaced feature that may indicate excessive clearance or unsuitable compression. Correct that condition before replacement instead of simply choosing a harder seal, which can change the contact elsewhere without resolving the gap into which the original part was being pushed.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
