Product Overview

A glass silicone sucker should be placed where its whole rim can contact a suitable continuous surface. A nearby edge, seam, or raised decoration can interrupt that path even when the center of the cup sits flat. Select the profile and mounting position around the actual glass feature rather than the general panel size.

Check the load direction and any leverage introduced by the attached component. Include the intended movement and vacuum operating arrangement where applicable. The complete setup needs assessment under those conditions before a working holding requirement is assigned to it.

Clean the rim and glass by a method suited to both materials. Inspect the lip for cuts and verify the mounting hardware does not tilt the cup. Release before repositioning instead of dragging the attached cup across the surface. During maintenance, compare repeated wear with the contact location and motion path. Correct those conditions before replacement rather than assuming a larger footprint will avoid the same interruption at the glass surface.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. Check the load direction and any leverage introduced by the attached component.
Custom geometry
Select the profile and mounting position around the actual glass feature rather than the general panel size.
Fit evaluation
Release before repositioning instead of dragging the attached cup across the surface.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
