Custom rubber oval grommets can be developed in different sizes for elongated cable cutouts. Compare the long and short dimensions, end contours and retaining section for each version. Scaling only the outside length does not establish the correct fit to panel thickness or the intended cable passage.
Check the grommet in its actual cutout before routing. Metal burrs or wood splinters should be removed so the rubber is not damaged during fitting. Inspect both ends after the cable is in place, since its bend or tension can lift a section that appeared seated initially.
Material, hardness and color can follow the application. Keep different sizes identified by working geometry rather than a shared exterior color. During maintenance, look for wear inside the passage and cuts at the panel seat. If a particular end repeatedly lifts, review the cable direction and support before fitting another grommet. Stretching a smaller oval profile into the opening can alter the retention needed around the rest of the perimeter.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Scaling only the outside length does not establish the correct fit to panel thickness or the intended cable passage. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
