Rubber oil seal parts should be specified for the actual contact in the machine joint. A washer closing between faces and an O-ring in a supported groove are different from a seal working against a moving component. Define the format and movement before choosing the rubber compound and dimensions.
Select the formulation for the oil, additives, temperature, and cleaning exposure that reach the part. Check the support around the section and the gap in the direction of pressure. The fit should preserve the intended passage or movement without allowing the rubber to escape into an adjacent clearance.
Install on clean surfaces and protect the contact region from sharp assembly features. Assess the completed joint under its relevant operating conditions. During service, inspect the old part for damage that identifies a mating surface or alignment issue. A material substitution should not be used as a general response to every leak, since an unsupported edge or damaged face may require correction in the surrounding hardware.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
