A rectangular rubber seal follows a joint with straight sides and corner transitions. The longer sections should sit naturally in their contact path, without bowing outward when the corners are positioned or being stretched to bridge an inaccurate outline.
Choose the profile and compound around the mating seat, intended medium and operating conditions. Cut or molded forms can be developed for the required geometry. Compare corner radii and any locating features along with overall length and width.
Place the seal progressively around the joint, checking that seating one corner does not lift the opposite side. Close the assembly gradually and inspect the accessible perimeter for trapped rubber. For a vacuum-oriented application, evaluate the completed joint under its specified conditions instead of relying on the loose seal's shape. During removal, support long sections so they are not dragged across a sharp edge. Inspect the corners and any narrow region before reuse, and clean the seat thoroughly before the next assembly so trapped residue cannot produce a local gap.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
