A rubber window cable grommet provides a protective passage where wiring crosses an opening in a window-related component or housing. The custom part should be matched to its exact mounting location, including the space occupied by nearby moving or removable elements. Its name does not identify a universal window profile.
Establish the cutout, wall thickness and wire route in the assembled system. If a window mechanism moves near the entry, review the full movement so the cable and rubber remain outside its contact path. Custom material, dimensions and color allow the liner to follow those requirements. Fit the grommet before the area becomes hidden, then inspect the retained edge again after neighboring parts are installed. During service, restore the cable's intended supports instead of letting it rest against the moving component. If a different cable or termination is introduced, check its clearance through the protected passage and near the mechanism before returning the assembly to operation.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If a window mechanism moves near the entry, review the full movement so the cable and rubber remain outside its contact path. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
