An open rubber grommet can be custom molded in silicone with an oval or round passage to suit the routed component. The center and outside dimensions serve different functions. A suitable passage size does not establish whether the retaining groove will fit the panel correctly.
Compare the selected oval or round configuration with the actual cutout, including corner transitions and wall thickness. Check the passing component's profile and the space needed during assembly. An open center should not be interpreted as a split construction that can be wrapped around an existing cable unless the selected part includes that feature.
Fit the grommet without folding the retaining lips and inspect the ends of any elongated section for uneven seating. Route the cable or component so that it does not constantly load one side of the passage. The open design leaves a route through the center, so any required water or dust exclusion must be addressed by the complete assembly. Inspect local wear where the passing component contacts the inner edge during service.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A suitable passage size does not establish whether the retaining groove will fit the panel correctly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a through-hole or blind-hole profile, then compare the dimensions for your panel and cable arrangement.

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
