Product Overview

A soft silicone rubber wire sleeve adds a flexible outer layer along a selected portion of wiring. Its length and wall form should suit the region needing protection while allowing a natural transition where the wire emerges. Custom dimensions and color can follow the cable and surrounding assembly.

Check how the wire bends at each sleeve end. A cover that protects the central length can still concentrate movement immediately beside its exit if a nearby tie or connector holds that point tightly. Leave the intended bend space and keep the sleeve from sliding away from the region it should cover. Select the bore for the finished wire, including any wrap that must pass through during installation. After assembly, inspect for a folded mouth or a ridge pressed against adjacent hardware. During maintenance, compare wear at the sleeve ends with the cable route. Correct a concentrated bend or contact point before replacing the rubber, so a new soft cover does not simply move the same stress to an unchanged transition.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. After assembly, inspect for a folded mouth or a ridge pressed against adjacent hardware.
Custom geometry
A cover that protects the central length can still concentrate movement immediately beside its exit if a nearby tie or connector holds that point tightly.
Fit evaluation
Select the bore for the finished wire, including any wrap that must pass through during installation.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; identification clear of folds and end connections.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly

04

Produce & inspect

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
