A rubber seal O-ring near an electronic connector must coexist with the connector's mounting and mating movement. Its seat may be circular even when the surrounding housing is not. The custom ring should remain located while the relevant components reach their intended positions.
Check which part carries the groove and whether another component moves past it during assembly. The connector should not scrape a sharp edge across the ring or hold one region out of its seat. Any retaining hardware needs to preserve the intended relationship between the connector and enclosure rather than use the rubber as an arbitrary spacer.
Evaluate that complete interface with the connector installed, including the movement needed to attach and remove its mating part. Select the compound for the actual environment around the opening. A sealing O-ring does not by itself establish an electrical insulation rating. During service, inspect the groove-side surface if the connector has been removed or repositioned, and restore the specified rounded section instead of substituting a flat washer with an approximately matching diameter.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
