A worn sample can be a misleading starting point for custom molded step ladder rubber bumper feet. Compression, abrasion, or stretching may have changed its original dimensions. Developing a replacement should begin with the ladder's intended component geometry and actual receiving leg, rather than copying every feature of the damaged part.
Separate wear marks from molded details when comparing samples. A flattened contact area may be the result of use, while a recess or locating feature may be necessary for assembly. Measure the receiving interface independently so a loose old foot does not become the dimensional reference for the new one.
The custom size and selected rubber compound need evaluation together on the intended ladder. A visually accurate shape made from a different formulation can behave differently during fitting and use. Keep the identified replacement configuration consistent across maintenance purchases, and distinguish it from samples retained only to investigate damage. Use the ladder's specified replacement procedure before returning it to service. If the original geometry cannot be established, do not resolve uncertainty by reproducing a distorted sample and treating its appearance as evidence of compatibility.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A flattened contact area may be the result of use, while a recess or locating feature may be necessary for assembly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
