Product Overview

A flat NBR rubber gasket should be matched to the machine's contact faces and closing space. An O-ring option requires its own corresponding seat, so the section must be identified before selecting a circular component. Custom material and dimensions allow the seal to follow the intended machine interface.

For a flat gasket, check the usable width of the mating faces and the position of openings or fasteners. For a circular-section ring, compare the groove dimensions and required ring size. The NBR formulation should suit the actual fluid, temperature, and cleaning conditions in either arrangement.

Install the component without pulling it across locating features. Keep the contact surfaces free of debris, and check alignment before closing the joint. During servicing, inspect the removed seal for patterns of uneven compression or edge damage and examine the mating parts where those patterns occurred. Replace the required section with its specified material rather than choosing a nearby ring solely because it passes around the same shaft, fitting, or opening.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
