A rubber sleeve for pipe coverage provides a custom molded layer around an existing pipe section. The flexible silicone profile should match the pipe's outside shape and the length of the area being covered. Its role as a sleeve is distinct from that of a tube intended to carry fluid internally.
Check the pipe diameter, bends, and any enlarged fittings that affect installation. The sleeve may need to be fitted before a connector is assembled. Its length should cover the intended contact zone while leaving access to joints or service points.
Fit the sleeve without twisting it or trapping debris beneath the rubber. Inspect the assembly in its normal position, making sure the material does not fold sharply against a bracket or fitting. Select the compound for the actual temperature and substances at the contact area. A flexible tube shape does not automatically establish pressure, flow, or fluid-compatibility ratings. If a fluid-carrying role is required, the complete construction must be designed for that purpose rather than inferred from a protective sleeve description.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The flexible silicone profile should match the pipe's outside shape and the length of the area being covered. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
