A thick gasket washer can provide a substantial rubber section around a matching joint. For a Buna-N configuration, the compound and geometry should be selected for the actual medium and operating conditions. A thick section still needs the correct support and compression; extra material does not automatically create a more reliable seal.
Custom dimensions can follow the bore, outer footprint and installed height required by the assembly. Check whether the mating surfaces support the washer across its intended contact area, especially where a flange or fitting leaves a clearance beside the rubber. Choose color separately from the material identification.
Evaluate any water-sealing function in the finished joint under the required conditions. During fitting, keep the washer centered and inspect for an edge that becomes trapped or pushed into the opening. If the used part is distorted, compare the intended design dimensions before selecting a replacement. Correct the seating geometry or assembly method where necessary so the next washer is not subjected to the same uneven contact.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
