Custom food grade silicone grommets provide a flexible interface around an opening while cushioning cables against its edge. The selected design should reflect where the rubber sits in the equipment and whether it contacts a product directly or occupies a separate wiring area.
ETOL can tailor the material, structure, dimensions, hardness and color. Establish the intended contact role and cleaning exposure together. A grommet near a regularly cleaned surface needs a seat that remains accessible and does not create a narrow pocket for residue beside the flange.
Keep the cable centered so the mounting profile can rest naturally against the opening. During cleaning or maintenance, remove deposits without using a sharp edge to scrape the bore. Check the flange afterward and make sure the cable has not carried particles into the contact region. If the entry is dismantled, inspect the hidden side before refitting it. A clean external face should not conceal a torn retaining lip or an accumulation of debris underneath the rubber where it meets the panel.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The selected design should reflect where the rubber sits in the equipment and whether it contacts a product directly or occupies a separate wiring area. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
