Custom silicone rings can form a gasket or washer interface in food contact equipment. The ring's bore, outer dimensions, and section need to match the supporting joint. A flat washer profile and an O ring section have different seating requirements, so the intended configuration should be established first.
Choose the silicone formulation for the actual food, temperature, and cleaning process. The joint should locate the ring without requiring it to be twisted or stretched into a mismatched shape. Clean the mating surfaces before assembly and check that the rubber remains in its intended seat as the parts close. Consider access for cleaning after use, especially where residue can remain beneath an edge or inside a groove. Inspect the ring during disassembly and preserve the correct material and section when replacing it. A similar outside diameter does not show whether another ring will receive the same support or compression within the food contact assembly.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
