A thin silicone washer with a custom gasket outline can close a shaped interface while occupying limited space between mating parts. This custom rubber or silicone component can follow a nonstandard outline, including the openings and edge features required by the assembly. Its thickness should be established alongside the available closing gap.
Thin sections need support from the mating surfaces. A narrow bridge between openings can move during installation, while an unsupported edge may become trapped as the parts close. Include the complete perimeter and hole positions when defining the gasket, rather than reducing it to an overall width and length.
Select the compound for the substances, temperature, and contact requirements of the joint. Fit the gasket on clean surfaces and verify its orientation before bringing the parts together. Where the outline is asymmetric, use its distinguishing features to confirm alignment. Close the assembly in its intended sequence so that the gasket remains flat. When replacing it, match the specified section instead of adding extra thickness to compensate for damage elsewhere in the joint.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
