Match the attachment and installation method
A truck rubber shock absorber must be defined around the particular truck assembly and the duty of its rubber section. The heavy-duty description does not establish a specific carrying capacity, vehicle fitment or impact rating. Actual selection depends on the geometry, material and connection to the surrounding structure.
Compare the mounting features and available working space with the intended installation. The rubber should accommodate the design movement without being cut by neighboring parts or forced out of alignment. Exposure to heat, dirt and service fluids also needs to be assessed for the chosen compound.
Use the component-specific fitting requirements rather than adapting an approximate part by changing attachment spacing. A molded rubber element does not imply a hydraulic damping system. During maintenance, inspect the receiving structure and hardware together with the rubber, particularly where a changed resting position has reduced clearance. Replacing only the visible damaged body may leave an alignment or fastening problem that continues to load the new component incorrectly.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Actual selection depends on the geometry, material and connection to the surrounding structure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
