A rubber flange washer provides a custom sealing element between matching flange surfaces. Its center opening and outer boundary should follow the supported contact area, while the thickness and compound suit the intended joint. The way the flange closes determines how the washer is loaded around its circumference.
Check the mating faces for damage and remove loose contamination before assembly. Position the washer so that it does not obstruct the intended opening or extend unsupported into a gap. Where fasteners control closure, use the flange assembly's prescribed sequence and settings to establish the intended compression.
Water exposure or other fluid service should be assessed on the completed joint under its actual conditions. A washer cannot correct misaligned faces or a damaged sealing land simply by being compressed harder. During maintenance, inspect the removed part for cuts and uneven permanent deformation, which can help reveal an installation problem. Select a replacement with the required dimensions and compound rather than reusing a visibly distorted washer or stacking additional pieces into the joint.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
