A silicone suction cup can be custom developed for an industrial vacuum handling task, with dimensions selected around the workpiece and mounting arrangement. The contacting surface should be considered part of that specification. Changes in finish or processing residue can affect cup seating even when the part's overall shape stays the same.
When the workpiece changes, compare the actual pickup area. Look for a new seam, coating boundary or texture beneath the lip. Check contact and release with the intended vacuum equipment before assuming an existing setup will perform identically. The approach position should allow the cup to reach the usable surface without overcompressing its body.
During upkeep, inspect the rim under good lighting and remove particles with a compatible method. If a newly introduced surface causes uneven wear, review cup placement as well as material. Keeping the contact geometry aligned with the current workpiece helps avoid repeated adjustments elsewhere in the machine to compensate for an unsuitable pickup area.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
