Product Overview

A special-shaped protection wiring grommet can combine a custom outline with a selected color for identification in an assembly. Color is useful for distinguishing intended positions, while the actual geometry still needs to match the opening and cable configuration.

ETOL offers material, dimensional and color options, with printed, embossed or other molded identification details. Place those details clear of contact regions that need an even seat. Establish the intended orientation of the shape so identification and locating features reinforce the same assembly direction.

Fit the retained perimeter without stretching narrow regions to reach the cutout. Inspect the full outline after the cable is routed and secured. If several colors are used across similar parts, keep their assigned positions consistent but verify the physical fit at each opening. During service, compare the replacement profile with the actual seat rather than relying on color alone. Remove trapped debris and inspect corners or locating features for damage before refitting a part that has been pulled out during wiring work.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Balance insertion flexibility with support around the opening. Place those details clear of contact regions that need an even seat.
Custom profile & fit
Establish the intended orientation of the shape so identification and locating features reinforce the same assembly direction.
Assembly considerations
If several colors are used across similar parts, keep their assigned positions consistent but verify the physical fit at each opening.
Design check
Inspect the full outline after the cable is routed and secured.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
