Product Overview

A neoprene rubber pad with adhesive backing provides a flexible contact layer for a compatible furniture assembly. The bond needs to suit the finished mounting surface, which may differ from the underlying material. A coating or polish can affect attachment even where the furniture body itself is familiar.

Check the exact location for a flat bonding area and identify the normal direction of contact. The rubber should not bridge a joint that moves independently or cover a screw needed for maintenance. Custom thickness, footprint and hardness can be selected around the gap and the way the furniture is handled.

Apply the pad using preparation suitable for the chosen backing and finish. Avoid stretching it while aligning the edges. After the required settling period, inspect for movement or lifting during a representative furniture trial. Clean the exposed face so trapped grit does not mark the contacting surface.
