Plastic suction cups with hook

Plastic suction cups with hook provide a removable hanging point on suitable smooth, nonporous surfaces. This version has a 60 mm cup and a locking hook arrangement. Glass, smooth tile and stainless steel are among the surfaces identified for this design, provided the whole sealing rim can make continuous contact.

The position of the cup matters more than the apparent flatness of the surrounding wall. A grout line, textured finish or shallow joint beneath one part of the rim can let air enter. Clean the chosen spot and the cup face, remove loose residue, then engage the lock only after the cup is evenly positioned.

Holding depends on the surface, installation and direction of loading. Assess the complete arrangement on the intended wall, including how far the hanging item projects from the hook and whether it can swing. Check the installed hook with the intended item before leaving it in regular use, and avoid locations where a falling object could cause injury or damage.

Size, color, material and hardness can be adapted for custom versions. When relocating the hook, release its locking action and break suction at the edge gently. Pulling hard on the hook while the rim remains sealed can distort the cup or put unnecessary force on the mounting surface.
