Product Overview

A rubber vacuum suction cup offers a removable point of contact for a suitable smooth surface. Its flexible rim needs to sit continuously against the surface so that the pressure difference beneath the cup can provide retention. For an application that is moved regularly, the ease of placing and releasing the cup is as important as its initial grip.

Consider the operator's routine when defining the part. A fitting may be positioned, checked, released and attached again many times during normal use. The surrounding accessory should leave enough access to the cup edge for controlled release. If the user can only pull on the attached object, the connection may be subjected to unnecessary twisting or peeling forces. Review that handling sequence with a physical sample of the complete arrangement.

The listed contact surfaces include glass, tile and stainless steel with an appropriate smooth finish. Test the actual finish used in the project, particularly where cleaners or surface treatments are present. A residue-free appearance does not always mean the contact area is ready for a dependable seal. The cup material and geometry can be reviewed with ETOL using drawings, sample parts and details of the intended frequency of movement.

When placing the rubber vacuum suction cup, inspect the rim for lint or grit and establish even contact across the lip. After release, store it where the edge will not be crushed beneath tools or packaging. Do not scrape dried material away with a sharp blade, as small cuts can interrupt the contact line. Check repeated attachment behavior under the expected orientation and handling forces, and define when the part should be replaced. Include these handling requirements with the desired size and color so that the custom design is assessed for its full routine, from installation through removal.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
