A conductive silicone keypad combines a flexible control surface with an underside contact arrangement. The custom layout can follow the housing and circuit positions, while the perimeter is designed around the enclosure's intended sealing approach. The moving keys and the stationary sealing edge need different kinds of support.
Each key must have room to move toward its circuit contact and return freely. The surrounding edge, meanwhile, needs the appropriate clamping and continuous support for the enclosure design. Overcompressing the entire membrane can interfere with key travel without necessarily improving the seal.
Plan the visible markings and locating features so the keypad is fitted in the correct orientation. Printing, raised legends, recessed symbols, and color filling can distinguish functions within the available face area. Keep the contact side clean during assembly and check the keys after the case fasteners are secured. Include adjacent-key operation and presses near the edges of the layout. Water resistance must be evaluated on the assembled enclosure, including the keypad perimeter and other openings, under its required exposure conditions. A conductive rubber interface is one component of that system rather than a complete waterproof control assembly by itself.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
