Product Overview

Special-shaped Silicone Rubber Seals follow interfaces that need more than a conventional circular outline. Their turns, narrow regions and locating details should correspond with the mating seat, allowing the entire seal to rest without stretching one section to make another fit.

ETOL offers custom dimensions, materials, hardness and colors. Establish the reference orientation and identify the features that locate the seal before choosing the surrounding profile. An asymmetric outline can appear close to correct even when reversed, so the intended orientation should be clear during assembly.

Place the seal into its seat progressively and inspect every change in direction. Keep a narrow bridge or corner from twisting as the larger sections are positioned. Close the mating assembly gradually and confirm that the seal has remained in its path.

The selected compound should suit the intended medium and operating exposure, with performance evaluated in the complete joint. During disassembly, lift the seal without pulling solely on its thinnest part. Inspect those narrow sections and corner transitions before reuse, removing any residue that could prevent the next assembly from seating evenly. If the mating geometry changes, reassess the full outline rather than extending one area by hand to bridge the difference.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Their turns, narrow regions and locating details should correspond with the mating seat, allowing the entire seal to rest without stretching one section to make another fit.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
