A rubber seal strip follows the frame interface where a window needs a flexible closing contact. EPDM is identified for this custom strip, with size and color selected around the window design. The cross-section should match the retaining feature and the gap that remains when the window reaches its closed position.
Begin by examining the gap around the whole frame. Corners, hinges, and adjoining frame sections can introduce local differences, and the seal must fit those areas without being overcompressed elsewhere. A strip that is too large may make closure difficult; one that is too small may leave discontinuous contact. Assess the installed profile with the actual window closed and secured.
During fitting, avoid stretching the strip lengthwise to make it reach a corner or joint. A stretched section can pull back later and create a gap at an end. Corners should follow the intended joining method, keeping the contact profile correctly oriented through each change in direction. The retaining portion needs to sit fully in its channel rather than leave a raised section under the closing surface.
Keep the frame seat clean before installation and remove ordinary deposits from the accessible seal during care. If closure becomes uneven, inspect the frame alignment and hardware as well as the rubber. The completed window determines weather sealing performance; the strip should be evaluated within that complete assembly under the intended exposure.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
